To create data backups on your hosting account, consider the following context:
It is HIGHLY recommended that you take backups of your database at least once per week for an event you need to restore data of your site. Actually, we do backups on our site every single day.
Now let’s get started…
Assuming you have accessed phpMyAdmin and are on the database you want to backup, so kindly follow the steps below:
- Click Export at the top
- Check the box next to Save as File
- Type in a filename for the backup such as the database name and date
- Next to Compression choose Zipped
- Click Go
